Polyer
Billed on actual usage

Pay for what you use.

Polyer measures the CPU, memory and storage each service actually uses every minute and bills only that, not a server size. A small project usually costs just a few dollars a month.

Paid plan fees include equal usage credit for the billing period. Applicable, unexpired gifts offset usage first under their grant rules, followed by included plan credit and wallet credit. On subscription channels that support usage billing, any remaining usage is billed through your subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel renewal. The plan fee is not a spending cap; workspace spending limits still apply.

One verified account receives $1 per fixed 30-day Free cycle in its personal workspace, for as long as the account stays open. Unused allowance does not roll over. No card is required for Free. Extra workspaces require their own Pro subscription, confirmed when you choose to pay.

What does a month cost?

Billed on actual use, not limits, so a small project usually costs just a few dollars a month.

Personal project

A blog, bot or personal API

A few thousand visits a day

$1.08/ month

Free plan: its $1 monthly credit covers most of it, so you pay about $0.08.

Hobby plan: its $3.00 fee counts as credit toward this.

Pro plan: its $10.00 fee is included credit that covers this.

Estimate this setup

Request volumes assume about 10–20 ms of CPU per request; real numbers depend on your app.

Estimate your project

Add the services your project runs and how busy each one is. The estimate assumes that use for 30 days and leaves out egress and backup storage. Your actual bill follows each minute’s use: more when busy, less when quiet.

Billed on usage, not on server size

A VPS bills the size you rent for the whole month, busy or idle. Polyer measures the CPU, memory and storage each service actually uses every minute and bills only that.

CPU and memory sizeA fixed size you pay for; outgrowing it means resizing the serverA ceiling each service can use up to; the ceiling itself is not billed

A service’s CPU and memory setting is a ceiling, not a size

New services start at their plan's per-replica limit: Free 512 MiB / 1 vCPU, Hobby 4 GiB / 4 vCPU, Pro 8 GiB / 8 vCPU. Usage can grow within that limit without a resize or restart. You pay for actual usage, including idle memory; unused headroom is not billed. Replicas are billed on their combined usage. Adding credit does not change your plan.

Example: a service limited to Pro: 8 vCPU · 8 GB that averages 0.1 vCPU and 256 MB of memory costs about $1.80 over 30 days at base-region prices. Billed at its limit like a VPS, it would cost $96.00.

Resource unit prices

Base-region prices; regional multipliers apply to resource charges. CPU, memory, volumes and database backup storage are metered every minute and public egress per GB. The monthly column is the same rate over a 30-day billing month, for comparison.

CPU$0.000185 / vCPU / min$8 / vCPU
Memory$0.0000926 / GB / min$4 / GB

Database backup storage$0.000000231 / GB / min$0.01 / GB
Public service network egress$0.02 / GB—

Private service-to-service traffic within the same project environment and network ingress are free. Public outbound traffic is billed, including connections through public database addresses.

Account resource limits

Free workspaces have fixed limits; topping up credit does not change them. Hobby and Pro lift the counts once the subscription is paid. Per-service ceilings and regional capacity still apply.

These limits cap what you can configure and are not billed themselves; charges always follow measured usage.

Billing questions

Am I charged for a service’s CPU and memory limit?

No. The limit only caps how much a service can use. You are billed for the CPU and memory it actually uses each minute, so a quiet service costs far less than its limit would suggest.

Is the estimate my final bill?

No. CPU and memory charges follow actual usage, and the total also includes storage and network use. The estimate assumes constant resource use for 30 days.

Are third-party costs included?

Application licenses, paid APIs and external services are separate from Polyer resource billing.
