Umami
Deploy Umami on Polyer for privacy-focused website analytics without cookies. This template runs Umami 3.0.3 on a public domain with a private PostgreSQL 16 service that stores analytics data on a volume, plus a generated APP_SECRET and database credentials. Review the optional POSTGRES_DB input, which defaults to umami.
What you can use it for
- Track page views, referrers and visitors for your websites without cookies.
- Compare traffic across several websites from a single self-hosted dashboard.
What this template creates
ghcr.io/umami-software/umami:3.0.3postgres:16-alpineConfiguration to review
This template has no additional declared inputs. Review the generated variables, endpoints and resource settings in the deployment form.
How to deploy
- Select Configure deployment and sign in or create an account.
- Choose a new or existing project and select an available region.
- Review services, required inputs, storage and compatibility warnings. Submit the deployment only when the configuration is ready.
- Inspect deployment logs, complete the application's setup and test its endpoints before production use.
Operating this application
- Sign in with Umami's default admin account as soon as the service is reachable and change its password immediately, then add each website to get its tracking script.
- The Umami service has no volume; all analytics data lives in the PostgreSQL volume, so check backup and recovery for that database and test a restore. Keep the generated APP_SECRET and database credentials unchanged across redeploys.
- The image is pinned to 3.0.3, so Umami changes version only when you change the tag; read the release notes first, as new versions can migrate the database. Storage use grows with the traffic you track.
Hosting costs
CPU, memory, storage and network usage contribute to your bill. The selected region affects resource prices. A multi-service template incurs usage for each service; external APIs and software licenses are separate.

This deployment configuration comes from Coolify's Apache-2.0 licensed open template collection and is adapted through Polyer's compose importer.
Static compatibility analysis is not a live application verification. Test your chosen configuration and recovery workflow before using it for production.
